fishbowl Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 Perhaps this sounds like an inane question, but would like an opinion. I am an LPR with Global Entry, my father is on a visa with a year left, has not traveled to the States before and we are traveling together into the US. Which line do we go in? Should we be in the line together? Any advantages/disadvantages to going into the LPR line OR the Visitor's line? My father is visiting for 2 months and don't want to me being a LPR being held against him. i.e. any perception that he will be staying with me long term. It's just a visit and he's returning back after 8 weeks. Thanks
JoeF Posted May 28, 2019 Report Posted May 28, 2019 Your father can't go in the LPR line. For you it doesn't matter.
care_candidate Posted May 28, 2019 Report Posted May 28, 2019 Only Global entry members can stay in that line or kiosk, no one else is allowed. You may join him at visitor line. There is nothing else to be held against anyone for that.
