SENTHIL@ Posted May 2, 2019 Report Posted May 2, 2019 Hi, I recently married and have to process H4 visa for my wife. My current H1B visa expires by August 21, 2019 My H1B extension approved with start date as 22 August 2019. my wife is planning to travel in June 2019 How to add these 2 petition number in DS 160 application ?
02112018 Posted May 2, 2019 Report Posted May 2, 2019 If your wife is planning to travel before Aug 21 19, use the current H1 Details. If your planning to get her after Aug then use the extended approved petition.
gopalakrishnach Posted May 2, 2019 Report Posted May 2, 2019 I personally feel you can use only one H1B petition number that will start 22 August 2019 since visa has just issue date not start date. This is just my personal opinion...

Better double check with attorney before you do this.
