Chicago elite Posted April 16, 2019 Report Posted April 16, 2019 I am on my H1B from company A. I have recently joined Company B and I have started working on my receipt. My transfer is still under process (recently they have issued an RFE). My I-94 expires in August 2019. Apparently Company B is in financial losses and we can end up in some turmoil. I would like to look for opportunities. Do you think I can start looking for new jobs and can have new petition (transfer) filed while the current one is under review or wait until the decision on my current petition is being made?
adshah84 Posted April 16, 2019 Report Posted April 16, 2019 Yes you can. I don't see any issue if you choose to go for another employer before expiration of your I-94.
