OPT to H1(Concerned)

Hi All,

I am an OPT Stem Extension,which is valid until July 7,2011.I have my H1 approved on may 11,2011,which starts from Oct 1,2011.My School has given me a STEM extension I-20 which is valid till Sep 30,2011.Today i got an email from my School saying that my sevis is completed.But my SEVIS should be active till my H1B is valid.(Saying that i should not leave the Country until it is fixed).

Please help me what this situation is.
