H1B Extension is approved but receipt not received

Hi,

From Feb 28 , 2019 my status is showing as You application for I - 129 is approved on Dec 7 2018.

When checked with Attorney he said he not received any approval notice for me, But he received the approval notice with I 94 extension details for dependents,

Attorney said he will file I 824 to get the duplicate copy.

But now issue is, processing time to get duplicate copy is 3.5 month to 6 month and may be more.

My I 94+240 days are expiring in April 2019.

What are my options, can I stay back or I have to leave?

I think you can stay since the petition is approved.

What are my options, can I stay back or I have to leave? - You can stay since your application is approved. Make sure your case/receipt number is correct and it belongs to you. You can find this from H1B receipt notice.

When status is approved, why we don't get the approval notice copy? - Did you employer get it. Check with them. Your employer will help you.
