Travel plans(to India) while H1B Amendment in RFE

Hi All,

Originally i had H1B and Visa approved until Sep 2019 while on Client A.

But in May 2018, I have moved from client A to Client B. So my employer filed an H1B amendment in regular mode for new client B.

Got an RFE on that case on Feb 2019. In this situation is it safe to travel to India and back while on RFE on H1B amendment in April 2019.

Also while responding to this RFE, can we request it for expedited/priority??

Any help/advice would greatly appreciated.

YOur employer can request premium processing if available  while responding to RFE.

Not an issue in travel but you would not be able to come back if petition gets denied.

I guess you can go but I94 will be Sep 2019 . Normally it is adviced not to travel when H1 B is in processing.

Also while responding to this RFE, can we request it for expedited/priority?? - I guess no and it will not have any impact. Your lawyer can address this.
