SKumar218 Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 My H1B application which was filed in 2018 got approved. I got the approval on my petition on Jan 15,2019. But my Visa was valid only till 31 December, 2018. My employer informed me that they received a back-dated approval for my application. As the visa was already expired I couldn't go for stamping. I am not sure if my case is eligible for CAP exempt. Please advise.
