h1b gap issue in green card application

I was with company A and got laid off, however the I was on company's payroll till 3rd June 2016, and in the mean I found another job which applied for my H1B transfer and I received the receipt on June 17 2016, and I joined the company on August 8th 2016. I worked in the company till Jan 2018 and switched over to company C. Now company C is filing my green card and they need employment verification.

Will this gap in my employment affect my green card application.
