wunlee
I am working for company X on H1 -- I have a authorization for location A. -- Now my employer filed authorization for location B ( in progress not yet approved but got a acknowledgement number) I started working for new location B but didn't entirely relocate to B yet due to personal reasons My family wants to continue in location A while I work at location B. So I had to spend few hours at location A. My employer is paying taxes for hours charged for both A , B 1. Would this be a problem later ? Would I have to entirely relocate with my entire family 2. Can I maintain two address location's for communications for any visa transfers -- I wanted to give location A while I transfer H1 to new employer as preferred Thanks in advance for all the help Link to comment
luck2u
1. No, you don't need to relocate with family but your payroll should be as per Location B as you have LCA and filed Amendment with USCIS for Location B. 2. Your communication address can be Location A. Link to comment
wunlee
Thanks luck2u... that's a sigh of relief that I don't need to relocate entire family. My pay stub has my location address which is currently reflecting as location A. I didn't officially relocate as per my company records yet so they won't update the pay stub I will have to spend extra money to find a shared accommodation of stay at location B (as my company would require Location B address once I relocated) Any suggestions ?
