Hi friends,

I wanted to get some suggestions from you on my recent h1b dropbox 221g in Chennai 

i am on h1b with my i140 approved,I been working in USA for 3 years .

I came to India on a short vacation and went to Chennai to get my visa stamped . 

Got 221g , appeared for inperson interview .

vo gave another 221g blue slip with no additional docs required along with mi PP and docs. 

Any idea how long it takes to clear this type of 221g?

Nobody knows. It depends on the case. Most 221g get a decision within 2-6 weeks.

It may take few weeks to couple of months. Sometimes they will ask for additional documents.

I think your latest approved petition from Nebraska or Vermont?

Update: I got a mail from embassy on 7th feb to submit my passports . 

Any idea how long it takes to get it stamped ?

or, is there any chances that they send my PP back with another 221g? 

I am assuming that they completed my admin process hence they asked me to send my passports to the embassy for stamping !!

any thoughts ?
