Ayan
Hi, Currently I am working on L2B EAD visa (EAD valid till Oct 2019). My current employer applied my H1-B consular processing in April 2018 which got picked and approved in Jan 2019. Now my current status is L2B visa and also having approved H1-B petition. But I don't have immediate international travel plans to get my H1-B stamped. So my question is due to some work uncertainty if I want to change my job can my new employer apply for transfer of my approved H1-B VISA with COS or consular processing. Or should I need to first change my status to H1-B by traveling to home country and get the H1-B stamped before changing job? So, in short I want to know whether approved h1b petition( with consular processing) ,which is not yet stamped to passport, can be transferred to another company with COS or consular processing? Highly appreciate your suggestion !! Quote Link to comment
