H1b client full time but no GC sponsor

I got a full time position but the client said they can’t sponsor GC because of company attorney costs. Can I take full time and with employer approval can I file GC with external attorney with my costs and is it leaves. Please let me know ASAP. Situation is critical as I have to take full time or my current employer will revoke my H1B. My current priority date is oct-15-2010.

The employer has to pay for the PERM LC and all lawyer costs associated with that. It is illegal for the beneficiary to pay for that.
