change of employer for MD and I 797 / stamped visa dates clash

I have a valid H1 B stamped in India till 2021 from my prev employer. My employer has changed and my new I 797 is valid till july 2019. I want to make an emergency visit for a family member s surgery. I am  a MD with a 3 yr contract. Should I restamp my visa or should I use my new I 797 with my prev employers stamped visa?
