I94 Automatic revalidation by crossing nearby border to Island

Hi, 

1) Me(H1B) & my spouse (H4) have stampped visa till Sep'2019 from employer A. 

2) In Feb'2018 I joined employer B on receipt. But it got denied on Jun'2018. Now Employer B refilled my H1B in cap-exempt on 2nd Aug'2018 in Premium processing.

3) Employer B asked me to go nearby island and do I94 automatic revalidation once H1B gets approved. But H4 case I have to handle on my own. 

 

Please let me know what should I do for my wife's H4 visa case , as my employer said its your responsibility. Can I take my wife with me to nearby border crossing or I have to send here to my home country India and bring back .

What "nearby Island"?

For H1, AVR is only for people visiting Mexico or Canada, not for people visiting nearby Islands.

Also, you wouldn't have a valid I-94, so AVR wouldn't be possible, anyway.

You can apply for entry with a valid H1 visa and a copy of the new H1 approval notice.
