H4 EAD questioon

Hi,

I have approved I-140 with employer X, after 6 months I joined to employer Y. they haven’t started my green card yet, I am planning to apply H4 EAD for my wife with old (X) employer I-140. Am I eligible to apply H4 EAD for my wife? Could you please provide information.
