EB3 - PD - Dec 21, 2007 - dates current but RFE in process

Hello,

Any one in this situation?

EB3.  PD Dec 21, 2007  - I-485 approval dates are current as of March 1st 2018.

 But the RFE received and submitted about six months back is still showing "Received and in Process".    

EADs about to expire. 

What are the options and any legal help available ?  should we file for EAD extension?  what are the legal consequences if EAD expired and Green Card is still not approved.

It would be appropriate to get yourself a lawyer to deal with the matter as you have waited long enough.
