when can a person start working after filing an H1 Amendment

when can a person start working at new client place after filing an Amendment on a H1B VISA.Is it immediately after filing the H1B Amendment or only once the amendment is approved.I have recently joined an US based Indian MNC  and after getting RFE on my H1 Transfer it got approved and company is asking me to file an Amendment immediately for a new location.

Can I start working on new client place/office once Amendment is filed with USCIS or I have to wait till get APPROVED from USCIS. My company is asking me to start the work immediately without filing any Amendment and they will file the Amendment henceforth.

Talk to your company's attorney of you have access to him/her.I had this situation earlier and Client wanted me to start ASAP, but my employer first got an LCA approved for new location and then Filed my amendment and then only he let me started with the new client.

You can start the next day from the day employer sent amendment request to USCIS.
