samiee Posted March 7, 2018 Report Share Posted March 7, 2018 I have applied for my parent's visitor visa extension while they were in USA. While the decision is still pending with USCIS, my parents returned to home country on the extended date that we requested in I539. Here's the situation, their visa expires in a month and while we are thinking about applying for their renewal, but, USCIS has their extension still pending. Should I just wait until we hear back from USCIS or should I go ahead and apply for their renewal if I don't get a response from USCIS before their visa expires? Quote Link to comment
