Rambo66
Hi, My client site is moved with in 2 miles vicinity of the old address where LCA filed. Do we need to file H1b amendment for this? Is there any source or website to check two address with in same MSA(metropolitan statistical area) ? As per below mentioned link, it states that, if we move with in same MSA, we need not file Amendment for H1b. Could some one give their opinion on this. https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-draft-guidance-when-file-amended-h-1b-petition-after-simeio-solutions-decision Thanks, Rambo66. karthik1234
For safe side, get your LCA updated with new address...incase of USCIS filed visit...they may go to your old address. if you have travel plans...get it amended....even within 2 miles range. When there is a material change in the terms and conditions of employment, the petitioner must file an amended or new H−1B petition with the corresponding LCA. If in your case its just the address but the same company, same project etc, then not needed. But if there is a material change, you will still need to file amendment. Quote Link to comment
