Prav Dasari
Hello all, I received denial on my H1B in December after sending RFE response(RFE on Specialty Occupation). My employer appealed the case on Jan 26th and the status changed to "we moved your case to another office" in few days. On Feb 28th it was updated to "we updated your name for your Form I-290B". There is nothing on the USCIS website that states what this means. Some forms say this means the case is under review and some say this happens when the H1 card goes into production. Can someone help me understand what this means? Greatly appreciate your help. Quote Link to comment
H1B Appeal
When attorney submitted new evidence or submitted a brief for H1B appeal then the status of new receipt number will be updated to "we updated your name for your Form I-290B". It is just similar to "Response for RFE was received". There is nothing to get panic about this. It went same with my case too. Quote Link to comment
