RrrPp
Hi, I got a full time job in January and they transferred my H1 transfer. The transfer was approved. I quit at my current employer and joins the new company in 2 weeks. However, couple of days ago I got a better(really really good) offer. It typically takes 2-3 months for the third company to do background check, visa transfer and give joining date. I have a question, if I go join the new company for which visa was approved and tell the third one to initiate visa transfer after background check was successful, are there any chances the transfer gets declined(because the visa transfer happened not more than 2-3 months ago) or there is a chance the transfer jeopardize my job at the new company ? Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
1. Definitely not for the reason that you had recently moved to a new employer. Just make sure you do not have any agreements or obligations with your current employer.Else you are good. I would suggest not to join on receipt but wait for the approval and then join upon approval;/ Quote Link to comment
