kamalmaheshwari1
I do have a question regarding I-765 filing. (We are planning to file H1/H4 and H4 EAD renewal all together in premium processing) In the EAD Application (I-765) there was a question (#18): "(c)(26) Eligibility Category. If you entered the eligibility category (c)(26) in Question 16 above, please provide the receipt number of your H-1B principal spouse's most recent Form I-797 Notice of Approval for Form I-129." 1. Since I do not have the new receipt number for my H1 extension application, Should I give the old H1 B approval receipt number? If I give the old receipt number, will the EAD be renewed only until Sep2, 2018 (Based on the old H1B approval notice)? We currently H4 EAD which is valid until Sep 2nd, 2018. 2. In the same form Q10 asked for A# or I 94 #. Since we already have an EAD shall we mention the A# (USCIS#) mentioned on EAD. Thanks in Advance! Quote Link to comment
SiriP
Please talk to an attorney on this matter. Quote Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
You should take help of the attorney who is filing for your H1 extension. If filed together, and if the extension was filed for premium processing, EAD also will be done under premium and you would receive EAd with end date as the new H1B extension end date. satya2k1
Answer 1. leave that field blank. Do not write old H1B approval number. Answer 2. A# does not change. Once a person gets A#, it remains same for the whole time until you GC. You can write A# for Q10. Quote Link to comment
kamalmaheshwari1
Shall i write concurrent filing in that section, that what is suggested in another thread or shall i leave it completely blank? I know this could be a stupid question but don't want to take a chance and hence asked. Note: H1/H4 extension and H4 EAD will be filed together in premium, Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment

Leave it blank or concurrent filing. When I filed all three concurrently in PP, I left the question blank. It is obvious to processing officer that it is concurrent application, because you send all three applications to same location in one envelope. Edited March 3, 2018 by satya2k1 Quote Link to comment

gotbeer
Hello, Did you have to also add a cover letter for H4 and H4 EAD or just added the required documentation to your H-1B extension packet? Quote Link to comment
get_hari
my company also filed my H1B extension with H4 + H4 EAD in concurrent premium filing. i got spouse H4 ead approval notice and card for 3 years. But didn't receive H4 and H1b approval yet. I have a valid I140. is H4 ead approval based on H1B and H4 extension approval ? does that mean my H1B extension is approved?
