purplen
Hi Forum, I have general question on translation services which are provided by some of the firms, which translate Birth certificate from Foreign Language to English. I have some questions regarding same: First, are those translations accepted by USCIS in I-485 application Second, I also need to add my name to birth certificate, those translation service providers suggest that they can add those while I provide them the 10th or 12th document of proof. Third, my father name is in short initials. Those translation services can also provide full name of my father in the translated document, provided I provide them the proof. Are these additions / translations accepted by USCIS or is there any other way to get this done. Link to comment
pontevecchio
This may help. https://www.state.gov/m/dghr/flo/154965.htm Please note that the translator has to be factually correct and cannot extrapolate things not in the original document. Link to comment
