mksastry Posted February 22, 2018 Report Share Posted February 22, 2018 Hi Experts, My employer will submit my H1 Extension around April'2018 in Regular processing. My current Visa & I 94 is valid till Jul 1 2018. My spouse and kid are on H4 and are planning to visit India in May and travel back to US on Jun 25th (before Visa expires). Will be there be any issues at port of entry as the Visa would be valid only for about a week? She will carry my Extension receipt notice during her travel. Thanks much for your response! NotAnAttorney Posted February 22, 2018 Report Share Posted February 22, 2018 Technically, the officer should admit them as they have 6 days validity on visa. You will need to also consider, the decision part on your extension. If there's a decision by then and if that was not positive? Plan your extension filing to accommodate all the possible outcomes.
