Balaji_Mani Posted February 20, 2018 Report Share Posted February 20, 2018 Hi On Oct 10th 2017, my wife appeared for H4 visa while I was working as a contract employee. They collected her passport and gave 221G blue form in Chennai consulate. It has been more than 120 calendar days now (Feb 20, 2018) I have not had any updates from the consulate. Mean while in Dec 2017 I accepted a full time position in another company. I am not sure to what degree this change of employer affect the Administrative processing. Also I had contacted the local congressman for help in Dec 2017 and received the same status as I see online for my wife's case. Also sent an email to ustraveldocs support and received the same status as that of Online status. I am not sure what should I do now. Please advice. Also please advice on how to let the US consulate know that I have changed my employer or re-apply H4 with the new employer. Link to comment
