Employer name spel mistake in I797

Hi,

I recently about 6months back got my H1b approval(Extension). I am planning to go visa interview @mexico.

I noticed my employer name is spelled incorrectly. One Alplhabet is missing.

I have emailed my employer he is saying it should be fine. 

Any advise is appreciated.

YOu can get a new notice with just a phone call to the USCIS if you processed it in PRemium.

No. We did in regular process and its already 6 months now I got approval.

My employer has addressed this issue to lawyer. Still waiting on the response.

It is better to get a new notice since the Consulate office will type the name as seen on the approval. 

1) Typo error from the attorney when she filed the i129 form

2) Typo error from the USCIS officer who approved your case.
