i140 retain Priority Date, if job title changes.

I have an approved perm/i140 with company A with title as Engineering Managers (SOC: 11-9041.00). My priority date is May 2011. New company B is willing to offer me a job and sponsor green card but with title Software Developers, Applications (SOC: 15-1132.00). I am aware that Company B needs to restart PERM process altogether. My question is will Company B  be able to retain my current priority date regardless of job title/soc code changes or do I need to lose it?

You will keep your PD unless you are declared guilty of harming the company with illicit intentions(fraud).

I suspect, there might be RFE for SOC change but that's usual as "Career Progression with Experience" letters that attorneys will draft OBO employer.
