starbearer
Hello everyone! My H-1B visa finally got approved. (For those curious, it was picked in Apr 2017's lottery and processed at the Vermont Service Center. I got two RFE's and it got approved on Jan 31 after the response to the second RFE was processed.) Here are my questions: 1) Do they need to do anything now that my H-1B has been approved? My company is a first time applicant. They have changed my paycheck to resume deduction of social security and medicare now that my status has changed from OPT to H-1B, but that is all I could think of. 2) Do I need to keep any paperwork apart from the I-797 handy? 3) My company provides an annual raise as part of the contract. Do I need to file an amendment every time my salary increases? Thank you. Link to comment
