H1B transfer RFE

Hi all ,

 

i got RFE on my H1B transfer and my employer wants me to join on RFE , my employer is Indian big consulting company , my questions are

 

1) if H1b transfer denied , can I go back to my previous employer ( they assured me that they will not withdraw h1b)

 

2) generally how much time will take for approvals after RFE response.

 

please suggest
