VK11
Hi friends, I am an F-1 student (OPT), working full-time for a US company with level-1 wage. It is a BI Developer requirement with minimum 2 years experience. My employer is interested to sponsor me H1B visa. But, after thorough research on internet, I came to know that the petitions with level-1 wage are hard to get approved. I am not even close enough to ask a hike and reach level-2. Please provide your valuable advice. Link to comment
satya2k1
If the job requirements are a minimum Bachelors degree and the prevailing wages in that area are equal to level 1, then there shouldn't be any problem in getting H1B approved. It depends on the petition, how well your employer compile documentation. Key things are: 1. Proffered job requires a Bachelors degree minimum as per Dept of Labor. 2. Bachelors degree Education is directly related to the Proffered job As long as you meet these requirements, then you are safe. Link to comment
