I140 can it be filed outside of United States?

Hi 

My company  filed my PERM in my 6th year and i would be running out of my 6 years shortly by Mid March 2018 (including recapture  of time spent outside us)  

Question : If i don't get my PERM/I-140 approved before the 6 year i understand cant extend by H1.

If i leave 2 weeks in my 6 year and work for the same employer offshore is it possible to get i140 processed after PERM approval even if i am outside the united States?

No extension after PERM approval. Either PERM pending 365 or I-140 approved is a condition.

Thanks . Understand we need to get i140 approved before  any further extension.

Can I140 be filed while  i am outside the united states or have to be physically present in USA for i140 to be filed?
