luck2u
My in-laws arrived to USA yesterday (2nd visit overall to USA) and when I check their I-94 online it shows that I-94 is issued for one year instead of 6 months for a typical B1/B2 visa holder. Can they stay here till I-94 expires or have to leave within 180 days which is usual timeframe CBP issues I-94? Link to comment
pontevecchio
It would seem to have been a mistake in data entry. I would treat the duration as 6 months and keep all records. You could always call the CBP and enquire. Link to comment
luck2u
@pontevecchioThanks for your prompt response! So, do you mean call to CBP toll free or customer support and check the eligible period to stay? Link to comment
pontevecchio
Call the local CBP Office where they entered the country. Unless they asked for and got one year which would be a blooming miracle under the circumstances given the tax and draft dodger at the helm directing affairs in his inimitable way, I would count 180 days and leave a few days before hand.
