TN renewal with spouse applying for 1-140

Hey, 

I'm Canadian citizen (naturalized citizen indian born) on TN status in USA with my wife currently on H1B status (Indian Citizen). My wife's employer is applying for her green card, Her labor got approved and is ready for 1-140 petition. I just want to make sure that being a dependent on her case would not jeopardize my TN status or cause any issues while renewing my TN status (due for renew in June) . I want to remain on TN status since it is a better option for me. Want to know what care should be taken in this situations.
