Applying for B1 while my H1B is in 221g Admin processing

Hi Guys,

My H1B visa is currently under 221g White Administrative processing going on for about 4 months. I have a home in US which I am planning to sell because without working I cant pay the mortgage. So I am planning to travel to USA for about 4 weeks or so to sell it. My question is, is it a good idea to apply for B1, or even if I apply would it get rejected?

Check with an attorney, I think you cannot apply for a different visa while your application is pending with uscis.
