H4 to F1 COS

Hello,

I had applied for H4 to F1 Change of status on June 21, 2017. THe case was received at Vermont service center. My H4 expired on Dec 6, 2017. My case status is still received. Should i got back to India and get F1 stamped or should I go to Canada and get F1 stamped? I also applied for canadian express entry and I have a canadian PR. Will that cause a problem to my F1 stamping?

You can wait for a decision. No need of going out of country unless needed.

I am also looking for h4 to F1 COS, could you please tell me which university your spouse applied to? and what was the duration for COS within the country? Thanks!!
