Fiancee visa sponsored by US citizen

Hello,

I am a naturalized American citizen. I was born in India. 

I petitioned for a fiancee visa with the intent to marry. My fiancee is living in India and has never been to the US.

USCIS approved the application and my fiancee had an interview at the US consulate in India. 

However, the US consulate initially put my fiancee's case under administrative processing. And a couple of weeks later, the US consulate sent the case back to USCIS for "review". No explanation provided. 

After a delay of 2 months, the case finally arrived at USCIS. They told me that it could take up to 6 months for USCIS to respond to the "review query". Again, no details were provided by USCIS.

Any suggestions on what is the best approach to allow my fiancee to enter the US?
