Hi,

My  I-797B has been approved from my Previous organisation(from 03/052012 and 13/14/2014)  and VISA has been stamped for the same period. I could not travel to US with my previous VISA.

later I left my previous organisation and joined new company and my old Petition Got Expired NOW.

In my current organisation - they are telling, I am eligible for OOC and filing me a new petition. I have below questions

1> Whether I am eligible for OOC

2> If yes, and if new petition approved, whether is valid for 6 yrs?

Most likely Yes to both. If approved you will be entitled to 6 years in H1 status. I do not see a problem in approval as you have the visa stamp. Of course rules have changed now. But if they want to file let them and see what happens. Let us know.
