Hi

I have a questions regarding sponsoring my sister.

1. I want my husband ( H1)  to sponsor my sister aged 37 years old along with her 10 year old daughter to help me after my pregnancy as this is my first pregnacy and as parents cannot come. Can i sponsor my sister or not ?

2. Can i show my pregrnancy as a reason for her to get visa.

3. what are the chances to get visa if my sister shows my pregnancy as a reason.

4. Can i aslo mentioned why parents cannot visit me in the sponsorship letter.

Thanks

Helping in the household is work, and is not allowed for visitors. They can give moral support, but can not work. If you need help, you would have to hire a nanny. If they work, they would take away the job of a nanny, and that's simply not allowed.

This may sound harsh, but is on solid legal ground. People have been denied entry. And the officers at the consulates are good at figuring these things out, even if it isn't explicitly stated.

your sister does not need a sponsor. She can apply for visitor visa herself n if approved can come stay with you for a maximum of 6 months. Better not state help during pregnancy  as a reason for visit as it may be misinterpreted as wanting to 'work' .
