H4 EAD versus H1b

Hello all,

I'm on my 7th year of H1b, I'm working with EVC model.

My spouse is on H4 EAD working on H4 EAD since last 1 year and she has H4 EAD until Dec 2019.

She recently joined full time MNC direct client company on H4 EAD. With the recent talks in the immigration system about tightly things with H1b visa and also we're hearing about putting an end to the H4 EAD visa. Her new employer is ready to file H1b visa so shall we apply her H1b visa or shall we stay on H4 EAD as is?

Please share your thoughts/suggestion.

Note:- She was previously on H1b visa until July 2015 then she converted to H4 and later to H4 EAD.

Wait till a decision is made and then employer can decide to file H-1.
