Ashyy Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 Hi, My I140 was filed earlier this year, but after a month, my employer told me that they need to withdraw my I140, as a wrong PERM was attached to my application. Later, they filed a new I140, which was approved in September. When I checked the USCIS status now, it is showing as withdrawn on October. So, could you please help me with the following questions? 1) Can I140 be withdrawn after its approval? 2) Can I change employer with my H1B which is valid till mid 2019? Many thanks!
NotAnAttorney Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 Yes, It can be withdrawn by the employer. In which year H1b are you currently in? You might be able to switch.
