Terry.camp Posted November 20, 2017 Report Posted November 20, 2017 Hi all, I have stamped H1B till end of 2018 and have been in India for last 4 months (vacation etc) . I am planning to go to Canada (to meet a couple friends / relatives) , stay there 2-3 days and then enter / go to US from there. I have a Canadian Tourist visa so thats not an issue (just that getting flights for same price & don't want to do special Canada trip later on) Will it create any problems at the US POE as to : "Why i am entering US from Canada & didn't directly fly back from India " ? What is the rule guys ? Do you have to come back the same way as you came etc ? Please let me know Thanks
pontevecchio Posted November 20, 2017 Report Posted November 20, 2017 No rule. They are more likely to ask you how you took 4 months vacation and if you have current paperwork from the employer there should be no problem.
amithnaresh Posted June 18, 2018 Report Posted June 18, 2018 Hi Terry, Can you share steps to apply for Canada visitor's visa? It has been a longtime I visited there and my visitor visa got expired. Thanks
