Visa Expiry

Dear Team,

I have my H4 visa extension till 31st Dec 2017.

Inspite of this my H4 to H1B conversion is under process and waiting for RFE response update status.. What will b my fate if H1b Response is beyond 31 Dec .. and got rejected.. Whether do I get any grace period to stay in US or I ll b out of status.. what I need to do now..

You can either convert to PP now or wait and if denied leave and return on a H4 visa assuming the H1 spouse will continue here.

Thanks for reply.. if the wait is beyond Dec 31st 2017 which is  my H4 visa expiry date, and suppose H1b is denied.. then am I eligible to stay for few days or any stipulated grace period So as  to plan my travel.,

If denied plan to leave in a week or two after the denial letter and return with a H4 visa.
