Hi,

I scheduled a visa interview date in Dec, I have few questions could you please help me with some clarifications:

1) while filling the H-1 application my pay was different and I recently got a pay hike, not substantial but in the employment verification letter they are going to mention the new salary, I even had put the old pay in DS-160.

2) While filling DS-160 I gave my home address as India address, currently I am living in US and wasnt sure what needed to be filled. Please let me know if I need to change it to the current address where I am residing

3) I will be moving apartment before the visa interview and will get a new lease, wasnt sure if I needed to change the address in DS-160

Please let me know if I need to change these in the current DS-160  or else create a new DS-160 with the correct details and if the changing the DS-160 number in my profile will it effect in any way my appointment date at the consulate.

1. You can create a new DS160, update your salary and submit that. Call the VFS helpdesk and have them update your stamping appointment with the new DS160. If you could not do it, you can also take the DS160 for your finger printing appointment and have VFS correct it. Make sure to take your old and new DS160 with you.

2. You dont need to change it. Your address in India is what you need to provide.

3. You dont need to change it. What if you change your mind and rent somewhere else. You can proceed with the information that is current.
