Guru_Prasad Posted November 13, 2017 Report Posted November 13, 2017 Hi All, Currently working in Singapore for last six months, My employer has raised H1B petition and got approval letter as well. I have read in forums that Stamping in Singapore is tough like there are issuing white/pink default. I don't have the choice to attend in India because of strict leaves policy. And also my employer is not providing Client letter(instead they are giving AD letter which will have responsibilities and SOW). The client is well known and currently working for the same. Here are my doubts or worries. Someone, please help to clear up my mind. 1. What happens to my approval letter if the stamping is unsuccessful in the worst case? 2.Can I attend for stamping from another employer? 3. How can I save my H1B?
stampwithgrace Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 1. What happens to my approval letter if the stamping is unsuccessful in the worst case? - I dont see any reason why you will be denied. Stamping in Singapore can be difficult on a short term visa like tourist or a business visa. But as you are already there working and a resident the US consulate there will be totally fine having you. Worst case as per my experience there may be a delay but your case seems strong for a visa approval. Worst case if the visa is denied its a lengthy process to deny H1b as it goes back to USCIS and you get a NOID which is usually done for small shop consulting firms with less employees or fraudulent history etc. If I were you I would go to Singapore for a stamping. You have a job so if you have to wait for a couple of weeks you can continue your job in Singapore, if I am not wrong. 2.Can I attend for stamping from another employer? 3. How can I save my H1B? - Yes if you have a new I 797 approval from a new employer then you can attend another interview as many times as you want.
