Vicky12 Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 Hello, I am working for a company "A" with an approved I140, and my current employer is terminating my role in 3 Months(X date) with a severance package. Now, i have an offer from Company "B" who applied for my H1B Transfer in premium and want me to join after approval. If i have joined my future employer without resigning from current employer i will be eligible for a severance pay at the end of two months (x date). Will that be an issue now or in future where i will receive pay from two companies for these two months although not at employer site and working ? I have a termination & severance letter which says you role will end on X date and i have this new offer where i have to join before termination date. Can you through some light. If i stay with my current employer, i am loosing a great offer and by resigning i have to forgo a good amount of severance package. R Vky
