venkata09 Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 Hello Everyone, I have attended my H1b visa interview on Sep 1st 2017 at New Delhi Consulate. Visa officer gave me 221(g) white slip and asked me to send the checked documents to email.Which i have submitted the documents on Sep 2nd 2017 to the email provided on the slip which is XXXXXXXXXXX@state.gov with case number "XXXXXXX XXX XX" as subject line. After all this process I received email saying that "This is pertaining to your Non-Immigrant Visa application Passport No. xxxxxxxx. You are required to submit your passports at the nearest Visa Application Center, in order to proceed ahead with the case. I submitted my passport and supporting documents which were asked in email to Visa Application Center at Hyderabad on 10/04/2017 .And I check with the Visa Application Center they said it reached Delhi on 10/05/207. Yesterday I got an email to collect the Passport. I did that today (11/08/2017). Passport was not yet stamped and they have given me the yellow letter with case number on top and whole paper was strike off with pen and below it mentioned as "Your case is under Admin Processing" . I didn't see the required documents mentioned which i need to submit. So what could be the reason for delay? Can any one help me.

Hi Was it your first H1 stamping experience or extension?
gopalakrishnach Posted November 13, 2017 Report Posted November 13, 2017 @venkat.. I can understand your situation since in 2017 I had 221G with my family in Vancouver Canada. Instead people answering your question they ask more questions to get more info from you and ultimately they donot help you. In your case I guess they wanted to do more background information. Please tell us what model is yours like E-C or EVC or EVVC. Please inform all the involved layers in your case. They may try to contact them. If you have client, also inform them and keep them updated. They may try to contact them. At this time the only thing you can do which is frustrating is WAIT to hear something and keep on checking status.

Manager told that he will informed them accordingly. May i know how many days i took for you & your family to clear 221g in canada?
gopalakrishnach Posted November 13, 2017 Report Posted November 13, 2017 Mine is total 9 working days including day of interview. Mine was LCA $45000 less than W2.
