H4 EAD approval date is before H4 Approval date

Team, 

I am on H1 B Visa and my I-140 got approved. We applied for  my spouse's H4 EAD and H4 concurrently via my employer on July 21st 2017, post dating the H4 application to Dec 29th 2017 ( the date on which it needs to be activated)  On Sep 28th we received the H4 approval document with the dates approved from Sep 28th to Aug 8th 2019. So we sent for a correction asking USCIS to move the validity to Dec 29th 2017 to Aug 8th 2019. So made the correction and send the correct validity H4 approval. In between all this, they approved the EAD and sent the card home for the dates Oct 27th 2017 to Aug 8th 2019.  Do we ask for re-issue of the H4 EAD card with the correct validty date? If we do, this week - say by Nov 10th, will I get the corrected H4 document before the Dec 29th 2017? 

My second question is - Can we still go ahead with these H4 EAD and H4 dates? Will it cause any issue with employers? My spouse is currrently working on L1A and wanted to move out of his current company, which is the reason we went for this change. So In January 2018, if he decided to move to another company, will this mis matched EAD date still work becuase the validity is until 2019?
