RFE responses after the submitting evidence

Hi Everyone,

Does any one got their responses recently in October ?When did you replied to the RFE notice ?

I got an update of case status Oct 24th as response received for level 1 wage RFE

so want to know how long it is typically taking in the recent times .

Also please share you story  if you update the petition to Premium .

I don't want to sound negative but I would suggest you to be prepared for the worst.

A colleague of mine received an wage related RFE a few months ago and on 11/03 his visa was denied stating his wage is too low. I am not sure what wage is considered as too low but I have seen this is as a reason for Denial.

Does your colleague applied for an extension or the initial H1B petition ?How many years of related work experience he/she have ?

This was an extension. He has been in the US from past 4 years. I am not sure whats the total experience but I assume its around 12-15 years. He has been to UK from the same company and spent 4 years there too.

Yes. Now a days USCIS scrutinizing more and have seen few denials recently in my organization. What I could see on RFE, the processing time is more than 2 months. As said above, be prepare for the worst. Mine is denied recently.

My employer upgraded to PP after RfE and got the approval with in 7 days.
