Sponsor Visiting Visa for H1 B Visa holder Spouse and Kid

I am in US and my H1B transfer is in progress and it may take another 4 months to get the approval. Mean while can my Sister sponsor visiting visa to my spouse and kid? Is there any implications if we do? 

Thinking of worst case and if the visiting visa is denied, if it will be any problem for future H4 Visa? 

What are the challenges during the Visiting Visa stamping and Port of Entry?
