Sridharg Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Hi I came to US on L1B visa on 28th sep 2014 and did not travelled back to india since i came. Here are the details: L1B visa Validity - Sep 10th , 2014 to Sep 8th , 2017 and I94 was valid till Sep 26th ,2017. My company applied L1B extension on May 23rd, 2017 i.e., before expires of my L1B visa, with this extension receipt notice i was continue my stay in USA. my company also applied H1B visa this year for me and it got approved and officially valid from Oct 1st 2017 and valid till March 31st 2020. on Sep14th 2017 I got know from team saying that my L1B extn. got RFE and I need to submit additional of documents for the same. my questions are : - Do i need to respond to my L1B RFE? is there any chance to Revoke or withdraw L1B extension now? - Do i need exit and enter the country with new visa to convert the status to H1? - submit the documents for RFE and wait for the status and then file the change of status from L1B to H1B and start work in H1 once it approved? - can I move to the different company with the latest H1B valid document even after responding to RFE?
